OUR COMMITMENT TO CLEAN SPORT
Qatar Powerlifting supports the principles of clean, fair and safe sport. Athletes, coaches and athlete support personnel are responsible for understanding the anti-doping rules that apply to them and for using official sources when checking medications, supplements and competition requirements.
ATHLETES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT ENTERS THEIR BODY.
Under the principle of strict liability, an athlete may be held responsible for a prohibited substance found in their sample, whether its use was intentional or unintentional.

Athletes are responsible for prohibited substances found in their samples, whether their use was intentional or unintentional.

An athlete selected for testing must follow the instructions provided by the Doping Control Officer or chaperone. The athlete will be informed of their rights and responsibilities during the process.

Athletes should check medications before using them and inform medical professionals that they are subject to anti-doping rules. Supplements may carry contamination or mislabelling risks.

Athletes who require medically necessary treatment involving a prohibited substance or method should review the relevant TUE requirements before competition.
REPORT A CONCERN
Concerns about a possible anti-doping violation should be submitted through an official reporting channel. Reports should not be posted publicly or handled through social media.
